Denise Armstrong, Heart Research UK’s Lifestyle Officer said, “Looking after your heart shouldn’t be dull or time consuming. We didn’t want another boring health event, making people feel guilty about eating chocolate once in a while. This event was very interactive, encouraging women to take part and try something new, with dance demonstrations, healthy cookery recipes, free practical advice on managing stress and much more."

Plus there was no need to feel guilty about splashing your cash as this event raised more than £3,000 for Heart Research UK to help us continue to fund pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.”
