Translational Research Project Grants

Grants to support innovative 'bench-to-bedside' research which can improve the health of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Maximum award is £150,000

Closing date: 1pm, 1 July 2010. 

Novel and Emerging Technology Grant (NET)

This ground-breaking grant will be in its fifth year in 2010. The funding supports research into new and emerging technologies and applications of bioengineering and molecular strategies for cardiovascular disease.

Research Training Fellowships for Clinicians (RTF)

These grants will give high-calibre and talented clinicians the opportunity to undertake research training in the area of cardiovascular disease.

Maximum award is £150,000

Closing date: The deadline for these grants has now passed. The application period will open again in autumn 2010.

Healthy Heart Grants

For innovative projects designed to promote heart health and to prevent or reduce the risks of heart disease in specific groups or communities. 

SUBWAY® Healthy Heart Grants

Community groups can now apply to Heart Research UK for new SUBWAY® Healthy Heart Grants. The grants are as a result of the partnership between the two organisations and in store regional fundraising by SUBWAY® stores. Grants of up to £10,000 are available to groups in SUBWAY®’s Central region.
