Grants
Heart Research UK awards Medical Research Grants of up to £200,000 for cutting edge projects into the prevention treatment and cure of heart disease. We currently fund over £4 million worth of grants at hospitals and universities across the UK. In addition we give Healthy Heart Grants of up to £10,000 to community groups around the UK to allow them to run projects to encourage people to lead Healthy Heart lifestyles. Translational Research Project Grants
Maximum award is £150,000
Closing date: 1pm, 1 February 2012
Research Training Fellowships for Clinicians (RTF)
These grants are no longer available
Novel and Emerging Technology Grant (NET)
Maximum award is £200,000
Closing dates: Outline applications accepted 1 March - 1 April 2012
Full Application: 1pm, 1 July 2012

HRUK Healthy Heart Grants
Maximum award is £10,000
Applications are only accepted during January and February for the May round of grants and July and August for grants awarded in November, each year

New Jane Tomlinson Walk For All 2012
Heart Research UK is proud to be a partner charity of the Jane Tomlinson Walk For All Peak District Walk.
With a 24, 12 and 5 mile route across the stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park, the walking festival on Sunday 29th April is a perfect Sunday for families, casual or even marathon walkers. What's more, every step will benefit Heart Research UK, with profits from the event helping to fund pioneering heart research.
