Skydive

Got a head for heights?

If you fancy the thrill of falling out of a plane at 120mph, why not do it strapped to one of the world famous Red Devils to raise money for Heart Research UK?

Climbing through the clouds to 13,000ft, you will experience a 45 second freefall, enjoying the exhilaration of a speedy 0-120mph in ten seconds before floating back down to earth at a more leisurely pace.

To take part in this thrill of a lifetime, all we ask is that you raise at least £500. This amount includes all jump, airfield and training costs and ensures a guaranteed £145 comes to Heart Research UK. The memories you take away of this day will be priceless.

A number of dates are available, but places are limited so contact us TODAY to find out more on 0113 234 7474 or email fundraising@heartresearch.org.uk

A daughter's leap of faith

38-year-old Tina Hicks from Cornwall took part in the tandem skydive because Heart Research UK is a charity close to Tina's heart. She lost her mother and grandmother to heart disease and has friends and colleagues who have suffered heart problems.

Tina is terrified of flying so her main challenge was staying inside the plane as it climbed to 13,000 feet - she was only too pleased to jump out of the plane when her time came. As Tina raised well over £2,000 she qualified for the 'Special Tandem' skydive, which means that two cameramen captured the whole experience on video and on landing she received a signed certificate and a bottle of champagne.
