Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Saturday 16 June 2012 at Horton in Ribblesdale, Yorkshire
No entry fee and no minimum sponsorship
Join our experienced team and take on the popular and iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks. The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a challenging 25 mile hike covering three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire.
Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough are part of the Pennine range, providing some of the most spectacular views in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is not a race but the official challenge is to complete all three peaks in less than 12 hours.
Heart Research UK organises the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge every year and all of our walkers have a fantastic day. For your safety and enjoyment, we have checkpoints along the route, manned by our professional first aid team and enthusiastic event staff, providing you with welcome stop points to refill those water bottles and take a break. We can even escort you back to Horton-in Ribblesdale in one of our support vehicles if you chose to complete just one or two of the peaks.
