sing for your heart latest news

8-15 December 2010

Sing for your Heart 2009 was one of our best yet, with events happening throughout the country. From Cornwall to Canterbury, Birmingham to Basingstoke and Edinburgh to Essex we had choirs, schools and bands singing for their hearts.

A big 'thank you' to everyone who helped to spread a bit of good cheer by singing for Heart Research UK.

It's not too early to start planning this year's Sing for your Heart event in December 2010, so request your FREE fundraising pack today and get everything you need to Sing for your Heart.

How to Sing for your Heart

  • carol sing in your local train station, supermarket or shopping centre
  • sing karaoke
  • organise a concert or carol service
  • get sponsored to sing a solo at work or school
  • hold your own X-Factor style competition
  • have a sing song at your Christmas party

You can raise money for Heart Research UK by collecting donations, charging an entry fee or collecting sponsorship money.

Celebrity support

Soprano Lesley Garrett, CBE, thinks Sing for your Heart is a great idea,

“Judging Celebrity Fame Academy showed me that singing is a fun way to raise money for charity and as long as your heart is in your performance it doesn’t matter if you don’t always hit every note.  Order your information pack now and start planning your Sing for Your Heart event.”

What do I need to do next?

Request your FREE fundraising pack full of ideas and tips for getting started.  We will give you posters, sponsor forms, stickers, song sheets and contact the local media for you.

Go on, have a heart and get singing!
