Most people have been touched by heart disease, either directly or through friends, family or colleagues. There are lots of ways that you might choose to support our pioneering work.

Donate money
It is easy to give a one-off donation or set up a regular standing order.  If you are a UK taxpayer we will receive an extra 28% from the Inland Revenue if you tick the Gift Aid box.

Payroll giving

Your company may support charities through setting up payroll giving schemes, fundraising activities, making a donation to charity or sponsoring specific projects.

In Memory
Many people who have lost a loved to heart disease choose to ask for donations to charity in lieu of flowers.

In Celebration

So many people have everything that they need, that they find it difficult to pick gifts when celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or other special occasions, so they ask for donations to Heart Research UK instead.

Leave a legacy

Most of our income is from people who have been kind enough to leave a legacy to Heart Research UK to help future generations.

Donate jewellery
We don’t want your family heirlooms, just any old, broken or unwanted jewellery which we can auction to raise funds as part of our Treasure Chest appeal.

Donate your time
If you are willing to help us we would love to hear from you. Our volunteers help with administration work, delivering the healthy heart message to schoolchildren and adult groups, fundraising activities and lots more.

Other ways to support us
Switch your telephone service provider to Charitel and they will donate 5% of your total bill to Heart Research UK and save you money.
